It is with sadness that we let everyone know that Shannon has boarded his final flight.

As the best Cabin Manager ever, Shannon is now performing his duties flying everyone to heaven.

'Thanks to all my loving friends for treating me like family and making my life so special. You were all a part of my dream and helped make it come true. I will always be in your hearts.'

Shannon's Mum, Dad, Brothers and Sisters would like to say a special thanks to all his friends who have been touched by him in many ways.

Josh invites everyone to come and share some time with Shannon before he goes back to his country and to thank everyone who made Shannon's life special while he was in Cairns.

The Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cathedral, Weld Street, Broome on Friday the 13th August commencing at 2pm, Proceeding to Broome Catholic Cemetery for burial at 3pm.
The family would like everyone to join them at the Nicholas Emo Centre on Robinson Street from 6pm for Shannon's wake.

My dearest friend Shan

I couldnt have met a more amazing man to restore my faith! Your smiling face, wicked sense of humour and your support healed my heart when it was broken and for that I could never thank you enough. I remember the days in the DJ box in Broome at Tokyo Joes laughing at all the goings on and singing along to our favourite tunes.

I was so glad when I met Josh as I adored him and were so happy that you had found "the one".

As they say, the greatest are taken young and you are just that "THE GREATEST". Love you.

Shannon, I only met you the once when you can to visit in NZ, in that short time you made me realise how special you are and how much you mean to Josh (My dearest friend). I can really not express the sorrow that I am feeling for Josh and your family, as you were one of the nicest people I have met in a very long time. You brought so much joy and kindness to so many people and touched so many hearts, thanks for allowing me into your life and all I can say is I am so PROUD to be able to call you my friend. May you bring the love to heaven that you brought to so many here, R.I.P my sweet Shannon, always in my heart.

Shannon - you are an amazing and beautiful soul - there will not be a day that goes by that we will not be touched by the happiness that is....you. The world has lost a bright beautiful and shining light.....Shannon, you knew no barriers, followed your dream and loved people and people loved you.
Many many memories...
the creative Shannon in Modern Dreamtime Dance Group, lining up gigs, getting into the choreography, costumes, sets.....
the confident, organising and party Shannon in charge of the Shinju Youth Commitee organising a wonderful concert for under 18's (only!) at the basketball courts and featuring big name band...
the caring Shannon helping us out with a smile in a crisis at the Qantas check in ....
the motivating Shannon at the Broome Body Shop event @ the RSL earlier this year..and I got to win the door prize.........have the products on my bathroom shelf and think of him every time I look at them...........

Hey my sweet bub

Words are unable to express the love and joy we shared during our time together. Even though the time was much shorter than we expected I am proud of your achievements and being able to help you live your dreams.
