Late of Clifton Beach. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 28th June 2011 at Cairns Base Hospital. Aged 64years.

Dearly loved husband to Regina. Beloved father to Christopher and Denise. Loving Grandfather to Aleasha. Most dearly loved by all his friends and family.

All David's Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service which will be held at Cairns Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories, 19 Pease Street, Manunda on Saturday 2nd July 2011 commencing at 1:00pm.

Prior to the service a VIEWING will be held between 12-1pm.

We send you our sincerest sympathy in the passing of your beloved husband/father David. Yes you are in deep pain and lonely. Remember that God is always there for us in times like this and He will help sustain you and comfort you and give you inner peace. As needed close your eyes and know that David is there for you. The world may take his body but that's all it can do. God gave us this important attribute called memory.
God gave us memory so we can get through this sad part of the life cycle. Focus on the beautiful memories, fun and laughter that you and David has shared together forever.

David has been in my daily prayers since we left Cairns and knew of his death. If it is the will of the Lord to call him let us pray he will not suffer. I hope Reggie and family will be strong in this very sad times.
Keep us in touch and Victor will never forget the short but lifetime good memories of him during our visit there.

David Vine and Regina were with me a few years at the biscuit factory in Gerehu before he retired due to cancer. He was always and interesting bloke and really confident in everything he did at the bakery. Very sad to hear of his passing today.
