Passed away peacefully at Gordonvale Palliative Care on Tuesday 26th October 2010. Aged 49years. Most dearly loved wife of Mark. Dearly loved Mother to Sam and Sarah. Loved daughter of Daphne and Arthur. Loved sister of Debbie and family. Daughter in law to Sandy Keate. Sister in law to Russell and Margaret Keate, Warren and Sharon, Chloe and Millie.

All Margaret's relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Celebration of her Life on Monday 1st November 2010 at the Cairns Crematorium, Foster Rd, White Rock, commencing at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Council would be appreciated. Envelopes will be provided.

    Dear Mark and Sam and Sarah,

    Andy and I were shocked and very sad to hear of the loss of your beautiful Margaret. We remember her from the Coconut Grove store (and from the time of baby sitting Sam and Sarah) and all Marg's sunny energy and happy intensity.

    Mark,

    We are saddened by Marg's passing and wish to express our condolences with the following words.

    We've often think of you and your family, especially when we are near where you used to live on Kalymnos Drive. And we are thinking of you much more as you go through this difficult period.

    We remember the support Marg gave you in golf through her involvement in tasks around the clubhouse at the Darwin Golf Club.

    I also remember the discussions we had about life and family either at golf or on our early morning walks.

    Keatsy & Family, so sorry to hear about Margaret, it was great catching up with her recently in Darwin and we were so looking forward to seeing her again. Such a wonderful person, may she rest in peace.

    My heartfelt condolences to you Mark, Sam and Sarah at this traumatic time but I hope you can gain strength amongst you in the memory of Margaret your beautiful wife and mother because she has definitely left an impact on many, many people in the world and I will strive to pass on the message of sun and skin awareness.
    Thank you Margaret for always being you, and being my friend for many years. I will always and forever treasure the memories.

    6 months ago I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Margaret, such a beautiful, inspirational lady, she touched my heart with not only her strength but her sense of humor.
